Eric Lefkofsky is the Chief Executive Officer of Groupon (NASDAQ: GRPN) and is also one of the co-founders of the company. As a Chicago entrepreneur, Eric Lefkofsky is a co-founder of several companies including InnerWorkings, Inc. (NASDAQ: INWK), Echo Global Logistics, Inc. (NASDAQ: ECHO), MediaOcean and Lightbank LLC.

Eric Lefkofsky serves on the board of many organizations and foundations including the board of directors of Lurie Children’s Memorial Hospital, the board of trustees of the Art Institute of Chicago, the board of trustees of the Steppenwolf Theatre, the board of directors of World Business Chicago and the board of trustees of the Museum of Science and Industry. Eric Lefkofsky is also an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Eric Lefkofsky received a bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan and the University of Michigan Law School.
